Pefkari is a village in Thassos. It is located on the southern coast of the island, between the villages of Potos and Limenaria, and is a popular tourist destination.
Its name means “small pine” in the local dialect.

In the southern part of Thassos and just 1 km from Potos, Pefkari beach is one of the island’s most precious summer gems, 40 km from Limenas.

Taking its name from the famous, dense pine forest of the area, Pefkari is characterized by the coexistence of sand and pebbles. The blue-green waters are ideal for swimming and summer games.

The organized beach has been awarded a blue flag for water quality and is particularly popular with water sports enthusiasts.
